  1. "You'll no melt!" when in rain. Melting is the change of solid to liquid, which rain doesn't cause, it's heat. What you mean is "You'll no dissolve!"
  2. I'd never red-card Craigieboy, but I do remember his suggestion of us maybe loaning Rashford a few years ago based on nothing other than Steve Clarke being Mourinho's (who was Man U manager at the time) assistant at some point in his managerial career making me hilariously just 'nope' off internet for the evening. A proper jumped the shark moment. A lot of posters could take some enthusiasm lessons from the lad. Back to the actual topic in hand, if greens/reds are putting off people from posting, could you integrate some kind of honeymoon period for new posters? Your first 3 month's posts are red-card free. After that you live and die on the merits of your linguistic prowess. Absolute worst care scenario, if there's specific posters whose 'content' you actively dislike, block them from your forumming experience.
  3. Good. On his day, he's a creative player. Brings a bit of balance to the centre of midfield with Watson, Lyons, McKenzie and Magennis in there.
  4. I'd say you're curtailing the strongest part of their game, and the part of our attack we're going to be leaning on a lot next season. Armstrong has shown his competance in this league, not sure why we wouldn't work to push that part of his game as much as possible. Kennedy is also a known quantity, and someone I'd prefer us back fullbacks in behind allowing him to play, rather than asking a lot of them individually.
  5. Well aren't I daft. Dennis/New GK DR - Wright - Deas/Sanders - DL Watson/Lyons McInroy/McKenzie - Magennis Kennedy/Murray - Armstrong/Murray Vassell
  6. Oh yeah. Don't think there's much doubt Wright and Deas would be our current starters. Dennis/New GK DR - Wright - Deas/Sanders - DL Watson/Lyons McInroy/McKenzie - Magennis Kennedy/Murray - AM - Armstrong/Murray Vassell
  7. So the squad is shaping up like so: Dennis/New GK DR - Wright - Sanders - DL Watson/Lyons McInroy/McKenzie - Magennis Kennedy/Murray - AM - Armstrong/Murray Vassell Still a lot of work to do, but the new recruits perform to reasonable expectations, they're an improvement on what's departed.
  8. That is a lovely, lovely kit. Fair play.
  9. A squad threatened with relegation form, and a squad competing for top 6 is not a million miles from each other. This league shows, more than most, that quality wins out. A Kevin Van Veen type of striker capable of scoring 20+ goals and whoever he plays for is likely to be out of the running for relegation candidates. SSC came into a squad with no wins in 8 (I think?) and turned it completely around adding a few quality additions. Now, jury is out on whether DM is capable of the kind of magic SSC weaved/is weaving with the national team, but take the squad from the season just passed, remove the players not capable of playing to the required standard, add a few quality players with that winning mentality and you make a case for having optimism. Pessimists can look at it from the total opposite direction and just assume roughly same squad = roughly same outcome, which is demonstrably untrue. My two cents, we need a GK (Walker ideally), striker, 2/3 fullbacks (Chambers being one ideally) and a DM (if Magennis & Kennedy is signed, otherwise DM, AM and Winger). That squad is solid, and if a top quality loan comes in last minute, all the better. Vassell scores 19 goals this coming season, earning him a move to the Championship. We'll get £350k for him, plus 10% of his next move. Kennedy and Armstrong also almost into double figures. Defence is solid enough without being spectacular. We finish a comfortable 7th, having missed out on top 6 on the last day due to a VAR fart at another ground gifting Motherwell a penalty.

Is the club crest stitched in?
  11. And not all of those appearances would have been up front either. A lot were from the wing, which didn't really suit his strengths.
  12. It is just a constant stream of brown nonsense from you. Not just in this thread. You have a disprportionately negative view on everything Killie related. Desparate to be right about how things are so wrong. I cannot abide people like you. You are full of absolutely nothing. Like a foul-smelling vapour in the wind.
  13. Agree. Generally you'd want 18-20 first teamers; those of higher quality. 3-4 squad\utility players same then your tooth stepping up thereafter.
  14. This. Away from especially, the fans have turned up and supported the team. This team needs to step up for one more 90 minute game, and give the fans something to celebrate (even if it is a 10th place finish)
  15. Aye, but McKenzie though. this is a joke and I fully agree with Killie alan's sentiments.
  16. They need to be 100% up for it, and we need to be utterly off the pace for them to take anything from us. As we've very, very recently witnessed the gulf between the top end of the Championship (where even Partick aren't) and anywhere in the Premiership is huge. Our games against Dundee proved this, and if we do drop to 11th, I don't expect anything like a similar level of disinterest from our players in either leg as there was 2 years ago. Score draw at FP, 2-0/3-1 at RP, if we don't do the business against County.
  17. Look, when it absolutely, hands down, utterly mattered.....we've come up with it.
  18. Trying to follow this Open All Mics is hard work. It is all over the shop and making it really difficult to understand who they're talking about, what incident they're talking about and how they feel.
  19. Do you ever post anything that isn't total mince? It's just constant negative bollocks from you. We've been on top pretty much from the off. Well have had nothing in the middle, Robbo has been harassing their CBs constantly and Ash and Joe haven't lost a header yet. Good half, should be more than 1 up. Ref giving us absolutely nothing either.
  20. Just noticed Jack Sanders is back??
  21. Eye wateringly awful stuff, from both teams, but Livi marginally better. s**te defending for their equaliser, just awful all round. We've no 5 yard pass on, ever. Quite how we have 3 or 4 players in the middle of the pitch and it looks like we have no-one. Livi have loads of time and are more comfortable with the blooter footie.
  22. Just seen the highlights, and I'm struggling to think of a better freekick at Rugby Park. Absolute peach, that was.
  23. Oh no, not reds. Thoughts and prayers with you during this difficult time.
