  1. There was definitely some booing aimed at our players as well. Indeed, the players were “embarrassing” and “I pay my money so I am entitled to my opinion” were some of the conversations being had around me. I don’t understand why some people come to the football to be honest - do nothing but moan. It wasn’t great first half, but we were still in it and to boo and moan at our players does not help anyone.
  2. Derek McInnes did not look happy….
  3. As much as the players appear sub-standard, one of my biggest concerns about the team is the mentality to fight it out when required. Once it went to 1-1 tonight, there was absolutely no drive, determination, or fight to take the game by the scruff of the neck and win it again. We were hanging on by the end and could easily have lost it. The new manager needs someone (anyone!) with a bit of dig who can inspire.
  4. Jack Ross or Derek McInnes for me. Both might have been out of our league previously, but always worth taking a chance when they are out of a job!
  5. Every single one of those fans who travelled up there should be repaid by the Kilmarnock players who served up that s**te tonight.
  6. He’s always been a constant pick for managers when fit. That in itself is testimony to what Rory brings to the team. Delighted for him - hopefully he remains in the middle moving forward!
  7. I understand people won’t like him - for what it’s worth, I thought he had a good game yesterday. But that isn’t really the point for me of my post. The point is, people were on his back before he had even done anything. A bit like you walking in the door of your work tomorrow and your boss being straight on your back saying you have been s**te this week! Give people a chance. Our manager clearly sees something in him and I have a bit of faith he knows what he is doing based upon what I have seen so far this season.
  8. I don’t think some people even wait to see how Rory plays before abusing him. Two minutes into the game today and round about me the calls were Rory was s**te etc. Poor guy could score every week and would still get abuse!
  9. I think keeping him over the summer will turn out to be one of our most astute decisions. Encouraging early signs with the signings he has made and it was clear last night that there was a method we were working to. Last year, there was none of that, and it does make you think more and more that the players were to blame. So much so, the majority are no longer here. Here’s hoping the upturn continues!
  10. I emailed the club at 11 this morning - have still had nothing back.
  11. The players and Dyer. That is where the problem was. Wright had absolutely no chance with the s**te he was left with. Having Lafferty kept it interesting, but even then it was false hope.
  12. If we still had Alex Dyer we would have been automatically relegated by now.
  13. It’s the basics we can’t do.
  14. Can only piss with the cock you're given!
  15. His problem is that he has been left with a squad devoid of any quality. I am not sure who he could actually bring in who would do better. Mulumbu in the middle perhaps, but who would you play at centre back? We got rid of Dyer too late and it gave Wright no chance. The signing of Lafferty was the one thing which might keep us up, but there aren't too many out there like it that you can call upon after a transfer window has closed.
  16. Referee is at it - guessed that was a foul!
  17. He’s never liked us has he....
  18. 3-2 down and you take off a striker to be replaced by a striker....what?
  19. Manager has stood and watched what we are watching with no reaction. Says it all.
  20. Why in gods name has he done that? In the last minute of the game already one nil down with limited chances of getting back into the game anyway! So so stupid.
  21. Reckon we could play all night and not score. We seem devoid of any ideas going forward.
  22. If they decide to play the blame game and the club hasn’t done anything wrong, the club should take it all the way to the highest authority they can.
  23. Referee was terrible. We didn’t help ourselves as offensively we were poor, but when you have refereeing like that, what chance have you got?
