  1. Why don't Celtic and Rangers play each other 36 times, at a neutral venue, like on Mars, then the rest of the teams form any size of league, and play each other any number of times. That would be a huge improvement to the game in Scotland, and everyone would be happy.
  2. You'd think that none of the previous managers players will have contracts extended since they are so expensive and have hindered McInnes' progress so much
  3. Surprising, since McInnes' hands have been tied for 2 seasons by the previous manager I just presumed he would be looking at an upgrade in every area when he had the budget to himself.
  4. Over the course of 38 games you don't get relegated because of VAR or bad luck, if you believe that then its head in the sand stuff. It can affect a single match, like the cup semi final, but not to blame for sitting where you are over the course of a league season.
  5. Won't need to worry about Deas doing that next season unless its in training.
  6. At the time I thought the booing was at McInnes for his ineptitude by picking an untested team then realising he'd messed up after 30mins when it was too late. The booing and shouts around me certainly didnt seem to be aimed at Murray.
  7. It wouldnt be your fault though if you hadnt kicked a ball in a competitive match for yonks but derek mcinnes put you in the starting line up. Well i wouldnt blame you, but many would.
  8. Tommy Wrights fault! Fraser Murray is taking up 68% of Derek McInnes budget. Dereks 20 signings and entourage of backroom staff are trying to survive on the leftovers.
  9. Well theyve won more away league games today than we have all season.
  10. We've won less than half our home games, so I'd say a win and two draws, 5 points, with 0 away from home, probably wouldn't be enough.
  11. Moreso our own incompetence which is being masked by blaming the referee. Those decisions should have been irrelevant. That St Johnstone team were absolutely atrocious, up 1-0 with about half an hour to go and we've a centre mid thinking Iniesta, getting caught out then not even bothering his arse to get up. Vassell getting a great ball in to leave him one on one with the keeper and trips over himself. Apparently our home form will see us through as we can't bank on away games, yet the last two home games against bottom 6 teams we've thrown away points from winning positions. We know exactly how this is going and the apathy is very concerning.
  12. Andy McLaren? I'm not advocating that we get Martindale in as manager, but that attitude is absolutely appalling.
  13. At least when he leaves us, he can be happy in the knowledge he didn't make Killie any worse as we will be in exactly the same position as when he took over, then he can blame Tommy Wright that he couldn't make it work with his 20 new signings.
  14. But still for transfer fees we wouldn't pay. Ferguson was over £200k. Lee Clark managed to get good money for Coulibally who was free and brought in loan players now playing at a decent level, I don't think many would fancy him as head of recruitment
  15. Stevie Archibald had a raft of Spanish players there at that time. Fernandez as well.
  16. Not particularly well if the Aberdeen fans opinions are anything to go by. https://afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/45747-russ-richardson/
  17. Thats a strange comment to make about the guy in charge of making the signings. Doesn't really fill you with confidence
  18. It's not Killie fans particularly, just punters that have no idea what they are talking about.
  19. Aye Tommy Wrights fault. 20 signings isnt enough for McInnes to get it right. If only he was allowed to make 35 signings. Absolute drivel.
  20. Was just talking about this. Its a risky business hoping other teams are worse than us, whilst sauntering changing nothing and hoping for the best. And if it doesn't alter much then can imagine we will be at Tannadice last game of the season, on telly, as a good game for the neutral. Now wheres that 'Nervous Games' thread.
  21. Just give it to Burkey until the end of the season. A bit of energy about the place, galvanise the support and give it a go. We are only going one way with the current set-up, and Burkey likely be manager next season if we go down anyway.
  22. Going to be a lonely old day for Christian Doidge up there.
