  1. Robson's a dickhead snidely casting aspersions on the surface. Only ever criticised when the opposition loses. Do they realise how pathetic they sound.
  2. £2m for Armstrong. You're having a laugh. We'd be lucky to get half a million.
  3. First World problem. People need to grow up.
  4. I'm starting to feel sorry for big Innes. In a team making loads of penalty box chances, he'd score maybe one in five. We're not that team. Being less charitable, I can't believe his lack of pace or poor first touch. I'd always hoped (and still do) that he'd be a success, but my optimism reduces every time I see him play. Please prove me wrong big man.
  5. Don't know what game you were watching but if definitely wasn't at RP this afternoon.
  6. Innes is as mobile as the Ailsa Craig.
  7. 🤣🤣 That takes me back. What my mother told me with my mop. Oh how I wish I still had it 🤣🤣
  8. Hate the plastic pitch and it does look awful. What grates though is the constant ill-informed, unevidenced claims that it causes more injuries than grass. Not to mention the hysteria a few of years back about the rubber pellets being carcinogenic.
  9. Findlay and to a lesser extent Mayo are bombscares.
  10. Ironically he was the beneficiary a couple of seasons ago.
  11. Pretty much agree with this. I said pre-season that after 26yrs of having a season ticket, I'd doubt I'd buy one this year due to the god awful product on display. Guess what. After the victories over the old scum I relented thinking a new dawn had arrived and bought one. Looks like I was wrong. Just get a feeling of deja vu when I watch this team. Certainly not the progress I was expecting. In fact I really can't see why McInnes is so highly rates in the meeja.
  12. Nope. Looks like beating rangers & celtic was an aberration.
  13. You should be renamed Mr Council of Despair. Constantly identifying a societal/political problem and then slating any efforts to deal with it. A perfect example of everything that's wrong with Scotland and its timid 'soft' unionist section of the population. Not your fault. Its been fostered by 300yrs of indoctrination and more recently the British Labour Party who's existence is predicated on Scotland not progressing beyond its place as subordinate to England - see George Foulkes incessant carping about the SNP. There's not one country who's gained its independence that wants to give it up. Quite the contrary, they're willing to die to defend it. Things can be better but only once Scotland is unshackled from this regressive, stultifying out of date union and an England which is gradually descending into extreme right wing authoritarianism. 4 or 5 years of red tory Starmer will do nothing to help Scotland.
  14. You're entitled to your opinion but that's the strangest argument against independence I've heard. Funny how you rule out Ireland given it's the most analogous to Scotland regarding your point re geography. They're simply bypassing England for trade with the EU now and no reason why we can't do the same. So you're suggesting that England wouldn't cooperate with an Independent Scotland. Really? I guess they wouldn't want our energy, water and other exports then. In a referendum 50% + 1 wins the day so your point re other countries is meaningless as an argument against independence per se. https://www.believeinscotland.org
  15. According to GDevoy, Scotland is uniquely, among small nations, incapable of governing itself and thriving. No idea how Iceland, Norway, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia etc etc. manage. Gie yer heid a wobble.
  16. There's no simple answer to sorting decades of economic and political mismanagement of the UK on behalf of the wealthy and powerful. The answer most certainly is not more of the same. It's time to take control of our own affairs in Scotland for a socially just and more equal society.
