I was impressed with Sam Stubbs when he was on loan at Hamilton from Middlesbrough and his contract is out next month, surely worth enquiring about. ?
  2. I would agree with others that Tommy Burns was by far the best and Stevie Clarke the best managerial appointment we could ever have made but I’m going to throw a tommy burns signing out there which if believed cost us a packet of sweeties and turned out to be one of our best signings George McCluskey a delight to watch in his day
  3. Dear god no no three times NO !
  4. Assuming that Brophy is out and Findlay and SOD both available I’d go with Koprivec SOD DDF. Findlay. Niko Dicker Burke. Power. Bunn Killie Kabamba subs Branescu millen Bruce el mak McKenzie Wilson all depends if he decides to rest some players with the Celtic game coming up
  5. Just throwing this scenario out there for reactions and opinions, if O’Donnell is in fact signing a precontract with the sheep this month, we could let him go this month (saves the scenario we had last year with jones) but part of the agreement would for us to get Bryson in exchange this month, then we go and get Luke Hendrie back from Grimsby as O’Donnell’s replacement did ok for us first time around.
  6. 5 points off the play off place on a serious slide towards the bottom of the league shocking that we have had 3 shots and only 1 on target all game and let’s not be fooled it’s been like that for a few weeks now. St Mirren have had 18 shots with 5 on target, I seriously fear the worst unless we get the finger out
  7. To be honest this result has been coming for a few weeks we have been creating absolutely nothing and look a team that is devoid of all ideas. Most uncertainly need an influx of players in January with a striker and number 10 a must
  8. Larry (needs to redeem himself) Sod DDF Bruce. Hammy power Dicker El makrini Burke Brophy Miller
  9. Also heard this last week before the Rangers game, that he had resigned but billy Bowie had persuaded him to stay because he wants him about the club as billy Bowie feels close to him as he is the middle man that the players trust and Bowie trusts. Also heard at the same time that Alessio has been given until the cup game to turn it around and if not he would be gone and Dyer would be given the job. Apparently Stevie Clarke had told Bowie to give the job to dyer at the time but don’t know if Dyer turned it down or was never offered it, and the reason SSC hasn’t spoken to Alessio is because the treatment of Dyer by him, also apparently Kris Boyd is helping out in the background with the youths on an unpaid voluntary basis which Bowie is keen to continue. Dont know how much truth is in what we were told but no reason to disbelieve it as it came from a source who works at the club. Suppose we will find out soon enough
  10. Absolutely disgraceful at rugby park today the rangers fans in the far corner of the FB was bad enough and some of them being put out was the right action, however we had about 6 rangers fans sitting a couple of rows in front of us celebrated first goal clapping players etc, we approached the stewards who in fairness checked them out but said nothing they could do as they were there as part of hospitality from Kilmarnock .....really !!!! all the furore coming from the board about not giving rangers fans tickets to our stands and the rigmarole for our own fans getting forms to fill in to get tickets and the club give rangers fans tickets into our section is an absolute disgrace then to get verbally abused by them on the way out could easily have led to a riot or worse come on Kilmarnock sort it out no way should away fans be given seats amongst our own fans hospitality or not disgraceful I’m still trying to calm down but might take a while !!!!
  11. Can see both points of view, and I for one would quite happily use the website to purchase my tickets and I tried several times, however what about the supporters that want to sit in specific stand, area or seat for example in the FB stand, when the web sales opened almost all of the FB was showing as unavailable and we had no option but to queue up and purchase tickets, not our fault so why should we be punished and made to pay more ? When we eventually got to the window at the ticket office they didn’t offer the option to open the section up and book our tickets only that we could collect a ticket and pay for it on another day. If the club could sort out the issue of making the stands and sections available I’m sure the majority of fans would get their tickets this way.
  12. Daily record today reporting that Liverpool have offered Liam Millar back on loan to Kilmarnock for the season. And that a deal has been agreed between both clubs it’s now down to Alessio giving his approval to go ahead. I would take him back in a heartbeat
  13. Agree totally can’t believe he walks straight into any team an absolute bombshell of a player with no pace, positional sense and any player with an ounce of knowledge knows he can’t turn so he’s easy to take on and beat. I agree that when McLean was with Aberdeen I thought he was over rated but he’s been one of our better players over the last two games. Taylor has been one of our better players tonight and certainly hasn’t done his reputation any harm what so ever, O’Donnell was very nervy and shaky for first 30 mins but improved once Fraser came on
  14. When o when are the SFA going to grow a set and finally act in the moronic sectarian chanting by both sides of the old firm. The filth coming from the rangers fans today, was to say the least disgusting, in today’s society why should it matter what religion you are, or even what team you supported as a youngster. Will the SFA act on the chanting today directed towards Stevie Clarke, because of his religion ? totally sectarian abuse, and if any normal minded person carried out behaviour and abuse like that, on any street in Scotland we would be arrested and appear in court the following day, so why don’t the SFA act ? The answer is simple the SFA hierarchy is still ruled by the old boy blazer brigade, who are totally terrified of the old firm and will not act against them in any way, the so called compliance officer is a figurehead only and acts only on the blazer brigades instructions, in fact the SFA do not sit at the top of the pile in running Scottish football, they are merely puppets of the old firm and act on their instructions to bully and belittle the remaining Scottish football clubs, in order that the old firm remain free to act anyway they want, run over the smaller clubs and claim the largest slice of the money. So as usual the sectarian chanting that the old firm fans bring to every game nowadays will as usual be very quietly swept under the carpet never to be heard to be spoken of again, Sorry rant over And as for today thank you Stevie Clarke for an amazing 20 month journey which has taken me to heights I’ve never been to in over 50 years of supporting this great club, if you do decide to go on and try and reinvigorate a failing Scottish team then I fully understand the reasons for going and you certainly go with my best wishes and full support. In billy Bowie, Phyllis McLeish and Cathy Jamieson we trust to carry on your legacy
  15. My only fear is they start their very negative time wasting game with shinnie doing his usual trying to referee the game with the ref giving in and giving them every niggly foul that they ask for. We are far stronger than them and if allowed to play our game there isn’t a doubt of the result. C’mon killie KTID
  16. Think McKenzie has had a decent first half some good runs and passes but we’re definitely missing that telling pass, JJ hasn’t impressed me in the first half would like to see McAleny coming on in his place maybe then we would get that telling pass
  17. Dear Billy and Phyliss quite simply from an old lifelong Kilmarnock fan who has been through the highs as well as the lows THANK YOU !
  18. Findlay has been immense tonight
  19. I’d start with what I think would be our strongest line up in their natural and favoured positions Bachman SOD. Boyd. Findlay. Taylor Burke. Dicker. Power. Jones Brophy. Boyd subs McDonald, Wilson, McKenzie, Kiltie, Ndjoli, tish, Thomas if Broadfoot was fit then he would be in beside Findlay with Boyd on the bench in place of Thomas
  20. Could it be just a coincidence but on 25 January 1997 in our first cup game, of our cup winning year we beat lower league opposition (East Stirling) 2 - 0 with a goal scored by our centre back - McGowne and the second scored by a striker with the initial B (Brown). If I recall I thought McGownes goal was also a screamer from outside the box towards the Chadwick end, but I stand to be corrected. Will be interesting to see who we get in the next round, that year we were away to Clyde and won 1-0.
  21. If international clearance granted in time for new signings I would go for Mcdonald SOD Broadfoot Findlay. Taylor Tshibola. Power . Byrne Stewart. Boyd. Enobakhare with Burke Jones Wilson Brophey S Boyd and Ndjoli all available from the bench Burke has been man of the match in most of our recent games but just feel We need to try something different and create more chances
  22. Sitting in park hotel just now in between watching kids tournament in the stadium, and got to say it’s very quite at the stadium. reception looks all closed up ! Let’s hope all the business is getting done elsewhere
