  1. Marie Macklin bought Frank Beatties shirt at auction, £1300 if memory serves me right
  2. Magnificent to see Killie fans and legends supporting a very worthy cause with every penny benefiting the club in these difficult times. Thanks must go to Mr Sneddon and Mr Hamilton for taking the time to sign the shirt.
  3. Niko’s Twitter feed: I just wanted to say thank everyone at Kilmarnock (the fans of killie, my teammates, coaching staff, medical staff, media team) for a loan experience I’ll always be grateful for and will never forget. Thank you guys @KilmarnockFC Thoughts on his departure; big loss or not be missed. Big loss in my opinion as certainly one for the future.
  4. Absolutely right; Friday night, Sheffield Wednesday, season not started and as stated at the time: Only 2145 customers bothered to help Gus MacPherson receive a profitable send off from Rugby Park in his testimonial against Sheffield Wednesday. The veteran defender perhaps paid for his close-season defection to Scottish Premier League rivals Dunfermline Athletic having turned down Kilmarnocks offer of a new contract. MacPherson could only play for three minutes of the rather dull 0-0 draw because of injury sustained during his new club Dunfermline’s pre-season trip. Legendary status somewhat soured perhaps?
  5. Thank you so much Skygod, any idea how I could find out the players numbers?
  6. Thank you Lroy but not sure this line up is correct. Names I have that played were Garry Hay, Peter Camero, Davis Merdy, Freddie Dindeleux and Gus for three minutes.
  7. Doing some research into the Gus MacPherson Testimonial match v Sheffield Wednesday in 2001. Would anyone know the Killie line up ie players and numbers? Thank you in advance
  8. Still nothing Samo, you are not alone
  9. A & D are stunning and do we really want C to be our greatest ever shirt?
  10. Or the best Killie players; now that would be good
  11. This should be interesting
  12. I thought the shirt sold on eBay mate?
  13. 1 million per cent this one
  14. As opinions go, I think the limited edition shirts are a great idea. Love the shirt but the box could have been a bit better (some might say less is more). What I think is missing is a certificate or a sheet that gives a bit of background to the famous season and the shirt itself. While a lot of us are well aware of the history, a lot of the next generation of fans might not be so lucky. Great concept, great shirt but Final package just short of superb.
  15. Here we go boys and girls, a thing of beauty
  16. Any idea if the club is auctioning off the Poppy shirts from today’s game? What a magnificent opportunity to support veterans and at the same time, have a chance of purchasing a cracker of a shirt.
  17. Calm down, a superb player last season, a Scotland regular. Get a grip my friend.
  18. The question has to be asked, how many tickets went to ballot? It would appear (via this forum anyway) that very few season ticket holders have been successful. Have to say extremely disappointed with this whole saga and glad it’s over. Roll on the match and the best of luck to the team and the fortunate ticket holders.
  19. Nothing at all, would really like to know how many tickets went to ballot.
  20. Just on Twitter “Could all TiK subscribers please check their email for important information regarding tickets for @the_nomads away tie.” Good shout but it looks like no tickets now for remaining season ticket holders.
  21. Rhyl accommodation like hens teeth
  22. Take Lroys advice mate and check the shirt. The difference you could realise in price will be significant. If it’s a players shirt, you’re on to a winner.
  23. Magnificent idea Lroy, the finished product will be a thing of beauty. A lot of hurdles indeed but I am sure there will be enough resources to aid your work. The very best of luck.
