I would agree with this but wonder why that is, is it because the league is so small with fine margins or is the quality just so Poor that we all try to limit the amount of playing time and creative play?
Probably a bit of both.

Good win today but Motherwell were absolutely abysmal and see if I’m honest, it was very tough watch. No sure if it’s the pitch or the way we set out to play but it’s really painful to watch in all honesty.
I think it’s the fact everything is so slow. Every team takes an age with throw-ins, goal kicks etc. it just slows the game down and stops any momentum building. Teams are scared to lose goals instead of trying to score.

Read an interview about a week ago where Magennis was talking about the importance of managing his training to stay fit. DM then clearly overplays him with the injury hardly a big surprise. Poor management decision making again. He was clearly struggling at the end of the previous two games yet DM leaves him on the full 90 and keeps playing him till he breaks down. Not even a comment made in hindsight. The player literally was talking about not pushing his body too hard. Is the type of Injury a player gets when pushed too much. We do not even play midweek all that often, use the ducking squad so you keep people fit.
Someone actually ridiculed the idea that he should be rested. I do not mind him playing in the cup. I did mind him playing the whole game at Dundee and against Hearts. Given he was pushed he clearly needed to be rested. Why we pushed him to breaking point so early in the season I do not know. Yes his fitness had improved and he was staying fit but why keep pushing when everyone knows he has some limitations? Same could be said about Donnelly. Assume he got injured cause of the fitness work he had been doing and then lunging in a big match he was not ready for and another niggling soft tissue issue. 90% of these type of injuries I picked up were preventable but I was not a professional who is supposedly having their workload set by experts. I was just never good at taking it easy or listening to my body.
DM has said in an interview (possibly his post match on Saturday) that he had thought about leaving him out but after a conversation with the player, who said he was ready to go, he started the game.

What about the seagulls though?

Holy f**k lads, most people over 30 will know that being a black bastard in Ayrshire isn’t meant as racist. However, to the rest of the world including most people brought up here who are under 30, the phrase means something different. So why not just change one word to any of the multiple others that can be used to stop people who don’t understand, being offended and possibly the club facing punishment?

What’s this pish about being thrown in out of nowhere? His job is to play football, it’s not as if he’s been away working at Brownings. He trains every day in order to be ready to play.

Many thanks for that helpful contribution @Culley159 - just so as you know, I can read and also know how to Google stuff……
Would you like to explain then why (i) Trust membership numbers aren’t higher after 20 years of existence? and (ii) There is still such a lack of understanding and engagement with the Trust?
Seems to me there is a lot of scope for the Trust and its Board to better communicate and drive greater alignment in achieving its objectives……
Because too many people just want to turn up, watch a game and go home.
you’ve had quite a lot of questions for the trust and are obviously switched on when it comes to finances. As demonstrated when the accounts for the club are released. A prime candidate for the trust board!1 -
Lafferty f**ked up and got a 10 match ban which is within the rules. Whether some Irish lassie has done something wrong or not doesn’t matter.

The song book is f**king s**te.
Motherwells group is not bad in my opinion due to their originality with songs - very rarely do they sing tunes rangers and Celtic sing - infact to top it off Rangers actually stole the tune of since I was young and made their own version so suppose that says a lot.
We have had some great songs in the past at Killie that are original. Be original f**ksake
I take it you’re going to be teaching us all of your original songs?

Can anyone recommend any landscapers? I’m looking to get my back garden slabbed and artificial grass. I’ve been let down by a company who were meant to have started by now.

Where are these "Millions" of people who can't be vaccinated?
If you mean under 18s, then they have a survival rate of 100% given a few sad anomalies?
Pregnant women are now also being advised to take it.
They can’t be vaccinated because they don’t turn up for appointments at the vaccination centres.

We have someone wanting a seat that’s not being renewed (child seat). Not released yet on the stadium plan to choose it.
You can buy for any seat then contact the club to move when they open them up. That’s what Katrina Watson told me. Email her if you’re not sure.

Or you could just sign up for trust in Killie!

Compared to recent Old Scum attendances, we are down 4000 a game offset by at most 2000 extra home fans. The increased support at other games would have been there anyway, so we’re down roughly 8000 x £30 = £240000. It’s much better for Killie fans, but let’s not delude ourselves it’s costing us two players at the top of our pay scale.
What would you rather have though? 2 extra players or a better atmosphere for Killie fans?

It doesn’t matter if it’s meant in a racist tone in that song or not. Just change the word black to something else. It’s not hard. Then the argument on here will stop and nobody from the press or other clubs can use it against us.

The picture of Kirk was taken from the BT coverage. He was clapping his hands. Just because he wasn’t jumping about doesn’t mean he wasn’t happy for his teammates.

Whether this was a Killie fan being racist or not. Surely we now have to change the words to the we are Killie song? All eyes are going to be on us and the black bastards bit needs to go!
