a lot of clubs are going led but its costly, most systems are metal halide where a electrode heats a gas that gives the light... each bulb or fitting at rugby park is 400 or 1000 watt 3 phase. count them, dont forget your domestic shower is 10k watts that costs 10p a minute to run -
the club could employ and train fire marshals to deal with pyro, (place at heathfield in a*r trains practical fire fighting).... spray with dry powder to kill the chemical reaction then cool with water....

dumbreck station on the paisley canal line is walkable too

once the avian flu that is ravaging thee coast reaches killie tthen there wont be a problem. hundreds dead all the way up the coast

ibrox, goodison and millwall used the same light heads, they were big but not powerful, the modern system uses less leccy and puts out more lumens

the crazy thin is the east stand is now about the same age as the shed was when it was replaced. i still see the 3 90's builds as newish but they are almost 30 years old..... still wonder what have been if bobby had just replaced the 2 ends and seated the shed, like dundee/dunffermline/raith.

there was the lindsay bros from auchinleck, all 3 were on the books as youths, lex played a few 1st team games before going junior and is now a driving instructor, stevie went to glenaftonn and won the scottish, think he played for talbot and kenny played for lugar. all 3 will bbe in their 50's now -
if he as a third o billy's skill then he would smash the spl, billy always was unreal, at 10 years old he was runnin rings round non league players in training

a 80's pitch in winter was a mix o mud, sand and some grass, like partick's this season, now pitches are covered in grow lights to make the grass grow artificially in winter or turf is grown in artificially heated and lit greenhouses
-
the old pitch had better drains and was about 6" higher along the centreline so the water ran off to the sides which were ash with gravel below, the ends where the stands are now were also drainage pits for the pitch. to maintain a grass pitch now uses more energy due to the grow and heat lights. for our climate artificial is better

as long as its in the east or moffat no issues, just remember the frank beattie/main stand has a timber floor gerry at pound express in saltcoats usually has good ones for a fiver each
