  1. I suspect that we will never see the training facility and the portacabin project says it all as we start but do not finish and that has been been going on for two years. The problem at Killie is lack of leadership and vision and the reason we are lurching from one crisis to another. Brace yourself things are going to get worse before they get better and thanks to the current board for their time, effort and financial support but it needs an injection of new people and ideas.
  2. It was about the financial damage to the club which could have longer term damage in the coming years and we could become the next Dunfermline or Falkirk if not careful.
  3. The fans are frustrated at the failure of the team this season most recently to progress in the cup. The draw has Inverness playing Falkirk in the semi final and if Killie were to have played to our expected SPL standard a final would have been possible. This would have yielded hundreds of thousands in revenue to assist the club. We may well need those funds if relegated as that will leave a huge gap in finances. KFC will as usual have fans digging deep to help but they need to start helping themselves by delivering results including board, management and players as fans goodwill and finances are running dry.
  4. Noticed in the latest update from Killie Trust director that our youth system has been downgraded from Elite to Progressive Performance and SFA website still has us listed as Elite. I recall in the past the club taking a lot of effort and pride to be Elite. Can anyone shed light on this as the update had no reasons or context around it as to why and what effect it could have on the youth system???
  5. Benn tod the Killie shop may be selling tickets in the morning?
  6. Was going to get tickets in the morning but just read they are not for sale? Why are we making it so hard for people to goto matches as no cash gate and can only buy tixkets when most people are at work.
  7. Killie are a full time business and football club run by a part time board. We have no chairman or CEO who is professionally accountable for the day to day running of the club with footballing knowledge. The owners and shareholders normally do not run the business and the failings at Killie are from the poor leadership and while we appreciate Bowie and MacLeish financially supporting killie their focus should be restructure of the club and appointment of a professional management team with a minimum of a three year strategy and business plan otherwise they are just throwing money at a problem they have created and the pot is just going to get bigger and bigger until they get fed up and depart leaving Killie financially ruined.
  8. We already have lost the club we knew and the reason we are in this mess and no matter what happens in the next few games this should be a wake up call. I am just surprised it has taken so long and only the appointment of Steve Clarke instigated by fans papered over the cracks. We have had no leadership, strategy or vision for years as Bowie does not want to be a chairman and we do not have a CEO or proper leader in the board room who knows how to run a football club. We have not had a long-term plan or vision, what happened to our training facility, name a youth player to come through and establish themselves in the first team in recent seasons? Overall a club in terminal decline that has just went into overdrive decline with a serious of disastrous decisions. Change needs to start at the top and appreciate the financial support from Bowie and I am sure he only had good intentions but if he cares we need one last gesture of goodwill for him to cancel his soft loans and hand over his shares and let the club move on and hopefully a new professional board possibly under fan ownership can take us forward.
  9. I think the min number used to be 100 shares so the offer of 50 is possibly why it is only open to season tiket holders. Not sure why limit it though and thought they may have put together a scheme where any shares purchased could be proxy voted to The Trust. Many people are subscribing already monthly to The Trust and adding 50 more to my 100 shares mkes little difference but if collectivly via The Trust will keep increasing their share in the club towards one day fan ownership via The Trust?
  10. Utter rubbish today and we need a new manager and a few players as current run and form is worst for 3 years
  11. We need a striker and attacking midfielder or we will be one of those teams who play pretty football and lose every week.
  12. I am certain we would still be in Europe tonight if we had Steve Clarke. I fear we will look back and realise that the happy times ended tonight and back to normal service. I hope I am wrong but not felt this low for a long time. Was so looking forward to an away trip in Europe and all I have now is a large bill of nearly £500 to pay to remind me of what we should have been doing.
  13. I was not going to go but changed my mind and now got a car full as team deserves a big support after tonight
  14. We have a season tickets for sale for the Burns Inn 20/20 supporters bus funds and we have an adult and two children for the East Stand all for a special price of £275. If interested please reply on forum or email [email protected] We hope this special price can be used by a family to attend Rugby Park this season and they are available for next Saturdays home match against Hearts if you can get in touch ASAP.
  15. Sad news and thoughts with family & everyone that knew him. I have great memories of away days following Killie with him going back over 20 years and he was the best you could meet and fun to be around. A sad loss and will be sorely missed RIP
  16. Is it possible to take friends season ticket and purchase tickets for them when buying your own?
  17. Best £1 ever spent and no wonder he has hung on to the gravy train for so long as it just keeps giving?
  18. The problem is that £100k has to be raised by fans putting in cash and sorry but no one trusts Michael Johnson and it will be very hard to do that and convince fans if he is staying. On the other hand if the campaign was to raise money to get rid of MJ I am sure lots of people would be happy to pledge money including me. I will await with interest to see the details of the plan before I finally decide but from what I have been told so far I expect I will be keeping my money.
  19. The accounts confirmed a loss of over £700k to May 2015 and I see no reason to think things have been any better since.
  20. Agreed, I am all for the fans getting a seat on the board but not at the cost of £100k to keep these clowns going a bit longer and when the club are losing £700k a year will not stop the club running put of money or make any material difference to the decision making or ownership of the club. Keep any money to deal with the administrators and we may have a chance to save the club and gain real control such as Motherwell, Hearts etc.
  21. The one director one vote will have conditions and there is such a thing as "reserved matters" where certain decisions are excluded from the voting as they are deemed too important and the shareholding % is used and certain that this will include the appointment of directors at KFC.. I expect that anything other than minor decisions in the KFC board will be "reserved matters" as MJ would have this all written into the conditions before any new directors were allowed on the board.
  22. Based on the accounts that are 1 year old it would be justified for the shareholders to ask the board to report the current financial state and what progress has been made on revenue and investment? If the directors are unable to supply this information or demonstrate a plan to turn the financial situation around a Vote of no Confidence by the shareholders and motion to remove the current directors would be justified. A usual though this motion will fail as MJ / BB are the major shareholders and directors who have mis-manged the club for years. For this reason the only option will be to wait until the club runs out of cash and hopefully the administration process will get the change needed. P.S The Killie Trust were trying to raise £100k and the club were going to give a seat on the board based on the accounts I have just read they may as well flush £100k down the toilet as we are operating at £700k per year loss. The money will keep us going for a month of two and when they run out of money which will happen it will be lost. Ask me to contribute to a fund that will save the club when they run out of money to create a new ownership / board and I will sign up for not worth putting any money in now unless a proper plan to turn things around it demonstrated..
  23. Got my letter this morning of notice of the AGM and is 26th April at 2.00pm. So we are now doing them on a Tuesday afternoon thsi year rather than in the evening and that will ensure a lot of people will be unable to attend as working and also short notice and expect that will be deliberate.. Not downloaded the accounts yet and expect they will make grim reading and probably the reason they would hope to have no one attending.
