  1. What a difference it would make to have this type of communication from the club. More output than anything we've had in the last 6 months...
  2. The report suggesting our social output was one of the best in the country had been misinterpreted. It showed fans had been engaging well with posts - to be expected considering we were flying at the time. It's never really been on the same level as the likes of Motherwell who do an outstanding job. From what I've heard our comms department is just a team of two. Like most employees at football clubs they probably work all of the hours under the sun, spending plenty of time on thankless tasks which the average fan doesn't see. The introduction of the podcast will have been months in the planning, so it's great to see them continuing to progress things and they deserve full credit for that. I still think we really need to take advantage of fans who would love the chance to lend some support in this area. What is there to lose?
  3. No signings = same formation and tactics every week. We've hardly got the playing squad to make huge changes. You can't blame a manager who inherited a squad with nowhere near the creativity of last season's. The failure to replace players like Jones, Stewart and Mulumbu is purely on the boards shoulders. Yet, Alessio will be the one who pays the price.
  4. Don't remember seeing the role advertised but it's really positive that the board have recognised a position which has been badly needed for years. Hopefully the first of a few additions to the marketing department.
  5. That's a great point about Killie Tv. I personally haven't subscribed as I feel it is a bit harsh to charge people for interviews etc which most other clubs provide for free. If it was tied into a membership scheme which provided more value I would definitely reconsider. I mentioned on the other topic that it was great to see us progress our media output but basic commercial activities like this seem to be lacking.
  6. We have been crying out for a points system for years now! If nothing else, the ticket situation surrounding the Nomads game should have pointed that out. It's great to see the club progressing the media side of things but I cant help but feel we should be putting these resources into a commercial/marketing department. The issues at old firm games literally puts people off going to Rugby Park, particularly families. There's no amount of social media output from the club which will ever fix that imo.
