  1. Derek McInnes has done two things Clarke didn't manage. Owning Aberdeen regularly and winning at Rugby Park and getting to a semi-final. I'm ignoring the league win as Clarke didn't have that opportunity. But if we get to a semi-final this year and finish 4th after the state we were in, then he surpasses Clarke IMHO.
  2. Wish they'd asked him why Barasic was still on the park. Should have had three yellow cards today!!
  3. Aberdeen or Hibs won't catch us if they make top six. So if St Mirren lose out to them it's because we have pulled away. In addition it makes the games less meaningful and based on how Aberdeen have played I'd fancy us to beat them again. I also would like them put back in their box a bit. We are competing for players with St Mirren not Hibs or Aberdeen so if we are the 6th club out the top five to regularly make the top part of league then we win race to sign any player who's being coveted by any of the remaining clubs.
  4. Especially when you consider we have had Celtic at Parkhead, Aberdeen and now Rangers. They'd have been looking at fixtures and expecting to be at least four clear of us at this stage. I'd love them to combust and drop out top six.
  5. I'm torn between him or Mayo. Had Lyons remained fit he would also be in contention. In fact an argument could be made for most players. Ndaba, Kennedy, Armstrong, Findlay, Watson... generally all been strong 7/10's most weeks at least.

IIRC Rangers when announcing he had left in their statement mentioned future incentives.

If we paid 50k for Mayo, his value is at very very least, 20 times that now.
  8. That was video I seen. It was definitely a Killie fan.
  9. Making him captain or vice captain just adds more numbers to his valuation. Something I spoke about with my old man. McInnes is as clever a manager as we've had at the club in a long time. He knows the league, the market and how to buy and sell players when their valuation is at its highest. Aberdeen are still reaping the financial benefits since he left... especially I'd indeed Ferguson moves to Juventus for the reported €25m
  10. Watching game I thought ref was excellent but could hear boos from Aberdeen fans so assumed it was my blue tinted specs. He let things go early and allowed a few challenges. Wasn't card happy and generally tried to let the game flow. Was refreshing.
  11. My son seen a crowd beating up some aberdeen fan after the game today when he was on way back to the car. He wasn't at all impressed. That being said, it seems based on twitter videos that there was a young Killie fan who ended up in hospital after at least 15 grown men attacked him. I'm not sure what came first and if it was retribution etc but considering the incident Josh seen was right after the game ended and it was one fan, I'd be surprised if it was any kind of payback. Young lads do a lot right and you'd hope they'd stay away from the nonsense that other young fans group seem to want to do. They sat next to me at Parkhead and they weren't a bit of trouble all game so hopefully this is an isolated incident. Agreed on destroying chairs at Fir Park etc, that's Old Firm levels of behaviour. I'd also like to stress that at Aberdeen they have a group of "ultras" who have a reputation for attacking opposing fans. Doesn't matter if its dad's with their kids or men with their birds. For those of us travelling up, be cautious on the day... especially the young team as they will be targeted.
  12. He blamed his striker who's the only one keeping them in the league this season. He blamed the park. Our style of play. Us leaving the boot in. His team being too soft. He thought they were decent in first half when it should have been 3-0. He's an absolute embarrassment of a guy. A 75 year old dinosaur of a man who talks more about his love for The Ranjurs than his own team. He's now throwing folk under th bus. Talking about recruitment and how whoever comes in after him will have "some job". This appointment has been an absolute disaster and probably a costly one. Alan Burrows has managed to f**k up two clubs in as many years. Another imposter who was the guy who done the Internet and cause he was "a good motherwell fan" got levitated to CEO. I'd love to see them go down... it won't happen but it would be glorious.
  13. Absolute basket case of a club. Just look at who from Scottish clubs went there... and epically failed.
  14. Beaton was the ref... therefore I was stunned it wasn't given straight away and that he even entertained a VAR check for the Watson goal.
  15. Could tell with Waktins reaction that it was a penalty when I was at the game. Having seeing it again, it's crazy to me the decision wasn't overturned.
  16. That guy Alan on the Killie View podcast knew what he was talking about... Donnelly!
  17. Had a feeling we would get something. £33 well spent for the seeth on their faces. From 70 minutes onwards they had their head in their hands. Only wee Brenda didn't see that goal coming
  18. I've got my ticket. As mentioned above, a no pressure game as underdogs might just be what we need to get the form back.
  19. Think you need to play Ndaba, GMS, Stewart and KVV. These boys need some game time.
  20. It has been rewarded... with season ticket sales. We reward them by paying with 400 quid before a baw has been kicked so they can invest in the squad. We have around 2,000 more season ticket holders than St Mirren and 1250 more than Well based on their tweets with sales. Some folk just don't want to attend the game. Some might prefer to see the game on TV as its rare we are on. Some might not be able to attend lunchtime kick offs on a Sunday. But reality is almost 5,500 of us paid the privilege of deciding if we wanted to go or not... and if folk miss it and we win then they've lost out on a great day. I've gone from going home and away every single game to missing so many home games this season due to my father's health. However my commitment to my club or to buying an ST even when I know I'll miss half the home games demonstrates to the board that their decision was justified. Personally it's great to see the Moffat being used like it was supposed to be as a family stand and that will continue to grow with results and word of mouth. God wasn't too long ago we were playing with just over 3,000 folk at the stadium.
  21. £5m would purchase probably our entire playing squad. Absolutely no way we will get £5m for Armstrong. I'd love him to sign an extension and us get £2m for him pre season. Think that's the perfect scenario.
  22. There was an incident in the first half where a Hibs player took a throw in line with our 18 yard box and both feet were on the pitch rather than behind the line. It happens all the time.
  23. Mulgrew, the ref, VAR officials and maybe 4 Hibs fans. Anyone with sentience knows it's not even a yellow let alone a red.
  24. Seems there will be a vote imminently re plastic pitches in the top flight being banned from next season. The voting is with only top flight clubs and requires a 9-3 vote. If this was to happen, how quickly could a new pitch be laid considering the groundwork that will need to be done? Can't imagine this will fail to pass in all honesty.
