  1. If broadfoot signs it's game over for me. Fowler, Dyer and the board have to go. No excuses.
  2. What do we do when we brought in no quality and end up in the championship, I know what I'd rather do. Not every signing has to be a young player on a 5 year deal, there has to be an element of what we need right now.
  3. Yeah but I mean in that midfield there's zero competition...
  4. Nonsense. Mulumbu would lift the roof off the place and shove a rocket up some people's arses in that team.
  5. Great work mate, couldn't be happier now haha!
  6. There is zero chance we sign more than two this coming week. I hope I'm wrong but the way things have been in the summer and the comments so far, looks like there is no urgency to improve the playing staff.
  7. A good friend of mine worked at St. Mirren when donati was there (he was part of Jack Ross's transfer team but is still at Sunderland as they wanted to keep him). He told me when donati came he was outstanding at St mirren and that it was a great move for us. He was apparently vey good at the technical coaching side and got the best out of players like Morgan, also a good man manager keeping morale high around the place. I for one don't disagree with keeping donati on, he obviously wasn't part of the problem and Dyer and Fow clearly think he's with keeping on. Dyer taking an interest in the warm up is what the players are used to, why change it is he doesn't need to.
  8. Except for St Mirren, where he went for it and played Millar alongside Brophy albeit to no avail, still trying something different that most of us were calling for.
  9. I can tell you our shape easily from watching last night's game alone nevermind most games this season. When we have the ball we push our wingers high and the fullbacks too, with 1 sitting (dicker) and 2 box to box midfielders in a 433 shape. When we don't have the ball we revert to a 451 (or actually in extra time it was a 4231) with dicker sitting and we effectively have the low block Clarke was successful with. I agree with ith the people who say we are that one creative spark away from a solid team who can hurt people with their pace up front.
  10. What was the terrible decision? He brought on another centre half to close out the game. It was broadfoots fault, nothing to do with the change.
  11. The only weirdo in the room was the guy Jim who took it personally, completely the wrong way and blew it way out of proportion and he wouldn't let it go.
  12. There's no fair way, most clubs do season tickets first then general sale. I don't see any issue with that way, works for the majority of clubs.
  13. This. If it is Alessio, then it certainly gets me excited. If it isn't, I fully trust Billy Bowie to do the right thing.
  14. I'd much rather Holloway than grayson if it was a choice between the two (I dont think it would be). Holloway has won the playoffs twice, knows how to win big games. Given the names mentioned my vote is still Di Matteo though.
  15. I can't actually belive o'dea. Just been relegated with Dundee and has a coaching role with motherwell youth yet he is saying you'd be mad to take the job with us? The club couldn't be in a better place for someone to come in, even if there isn't an improvement and it is a repeat I'd be over the moon.
  16. Sky sports have the league fixtures from next season I'm sure.
  17. Don't know if he's been mentioned but I think we could do a lot worse than Jim Goodwin. Hated him as a player but comes across well and has worked wonders with Alloa. Wouldn't be my first choice by any means but I'd consider him. My first choice would be Clement, same mould and calibre as Clarke. I have faith in Billy Bowie to bring in the right man, after Sunday I cannot see us going backwards. Changed days..
  18. I'm usually optimistic but just can't see how we progress from this, again I really hope I'm proved wrong.
  19. Can't see it myself but hope I'm proved wrong. I think people will look at it as how we'll he done, how can you repeat it with the limited budget etc.
  20. Depends on who we get in as a manager. I fear the worst if I'm honest. No one expected Clarke to hit the heights he has, it will be near on impossible for anyone to even come close never mind progress.
  21. Why would I join the tartan army? I'm allowed my opinion and my opinion is we will free fall without him.
  22. These are also the players that without Clarke nearly had us relegated incase you forgot.
  23. Oh well. Bring in the relegation dogfight next season.
