  1. Harry Forrester - had a decent loan spell from Villa and went on to have a decent career.
  2. I remember this guy, but I was 8 when he was here. Obviously he never set the Heather on fire, but if we were to sign a striker who had played 58 games with Lyon and 22 with West Ham in this window, then I’d be pretty happy.
  3. Scott Severen. Actually done a job for us as far as I remember.
  4. I don’t like the idea of a third kit and I don’t understand why they’ve changed the shirt. I understand releasing it with a new sponsor, but the design has changed and therefor it’s a new kit, but how many times do we really wear a third kit?
  5. I’m sure the full back would be quite comfortable with the keeper kicking the ball to Armstrong. I’m sure he could cover that distance and win the header in the 5/6 seconds the ball is in the air.
  6. Our goalkeeper kit is “Inspired by the intricate topography of the Killie waterways” The away kit is “Inspired by the world-changing discovery of penicillin” Celtic’s kit this season is “Inspired by elements of the glass pattern from the original entrance of Celtic Park” Rangers’ kit is a “celebration of the club's most iconic moments and memorable kits” A story attached to every kit launch, but… What’s the most ridiculous you’ve seen? Liverpool’s third kit in 2017 - “the design inspiration for the third kit comes from the original wooden signage of the famous Kop stand”

Why is Watson even being quoted? The boys played about 10 games. Jeezy peeps.
  8. Sky used quite a lot of footage of him, which showed quite a lot of flags in the stand.
  9. Any update on Josh Fowler? speaking with a boy at Queens Park who heard he was “unreal” during his trial with Motherwell, although the club decided to sign Calum Wilkinson from Walsall instead.
  10. I think not being in a relegation battle would be acceptable progression. That could mean we finish 6th, or even 10th again. As long as we’re clear of the threat. The league is very competitive and there often isn’t much between the battle for the last place in the top six and that to avoid the pay off position.
  11. Sorry, I meant on the post on Twitter that was posted earlier in the thread
  12. Assuming it’s Alexander Fleming, why’s he not named?
  13. So just about everywhere else then 😂?
  14. I think Liverpool have essentially tiered the clubs and leagues to which they send their young players. Chambers, with no previous first team experience came to Killie. As did Liam Millar. Liverpool would expect Chambers to make a step up this season to continue his development, whether that’s championship football, bundesliga etc, it won’t be here. Tyler Morton made a few first team appearances then excelled on loan at Blackburn Rovers. Harvey Elliot did likewise. Calvin Ramsay has left on loan to PNE. Scottish clubs get the untried players. I think if Doak were to leave Liverpool on loan, it would be to a club in the championship. But I doubt they’d let him leave at all.
  15. Kilmarnock is closer than Aberdeen. #AnnounceJoeLewis
  16. Buying into that s**te. To suggest that McCarthy was signed to appease the supporters because they signed Joe Hart is f**king ridiculous… Like us all, I’ve got plenty of Celtic supporting friends and colleges. None of them ever mentioned the fact that Hart was an ex-England goalkeeper, less so made it a problem. I’m guessing that’s a conclusion you’ve arrived at yourself. The second part of your post is unrelated to the first. Orange kits and tri-colour sleeves is irrelevant to your point. If you mean to suggest that Celtic signed McCarthy because he was an Ireland international, then this is again, independent to the Joe Hart signing.
  17. Past it being a completely different person, do you really think that’s the reason Celtic signed McCarthy? If you believe that kind of narrative then you’re part of the problem.
  18. Luke Chambers Age: 19 Position: Left-back Chambers could have travelled to Argentina in May to play for England under-20s at the World Cup – instead, he was in East Ayrshire, seeing out his loan with Kilmarnock. Chambers, who was an Under-19s European Championship winner with England last year, passed up on the opportunity of playing at a World Cup in order to complete his half-season loan spell with relegation-threatened Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership. “Obviously, it’s disappointing to be missing the World Cup, but what Kilmarnock have done for me I couldn’t just walk out on them with three big games to go,” the 19-year-old explained, before featuring in all three games which ensured the club’s survival in the top division. His reputation has been steadily growing in the past couple of seasons and the honourable decision to stay with Kilmarnock has only added to it. It was his displays during the first half of last season with Liverpool’s under-21s which led to his loan move. Chambers almost looked too comfortable at times when dishing out tackles and passes from left-back along with those attacking bursts into forward positions. Kilmarnock presented him with a new challenge — and one in which he thrived. His performances there have helped garner him the attention of a host of clubs who are interested in taking him on loan for 2023-24. Bayer Leverkusen, managed by former Liverpool player Xabi Alonso, are understood to be one side having shown interest in Chambers. Meanwhile, Championship sides such as Watford and Sheffield Wednesday are also possible locations for a move. Liverpool plan to assess Chambers over the course of pre-season before a decision is then made on the next step for him, which could be that another loan move at an increased level of difficulty. From The Athletic… think that rules us out 😂
  19. Just going by season tickets holders at Beith. 50 and 15 sound very similar, could understand if there’s been a mix up.
  20. Vassell was a complete unknown for defenders, and he’s hardly a “nightmare”. Josh Fowler had a great season at Beith, who knows whether or not he’d be good enough at Premiership level, but I’m sure SPFL defenders wouldn’t be losing sleep over him.
