About Me

Found 8 results

  1. 26 year old striker from Wimbledon. Possibly on trial with us/signing, heard from a reliable postman, who is usually 1st class with info.
  2. Former Kilmarnock keeper Daniel Bachmann has revealed he has loan offers from clubs in Scotland after admitting this season at Watford had been a waste. The Austrian goalkeeper impressed during a loan spell at Rugby Park last season, but had to settle for playing back-up to Ben Foster this season at Watford. He’s just signed a new four-year deal at the English Premier League club but is set to go out on loan next season. And the 25-year-old could be returning north of the border. "For me personally, the current season was a waste. It was just different than I expected and unlike what was actually discussed with the club in pre-season. But that’s how it is, I have to look ahead. I will definitely play next season. Whether at Watford or elsewhere, we will see in the next two to three weeks. Last summer I had a lot of very good offers, all of which Watford blocked and if you look at the past ten months, it’s obviously difficult to understand. But there are still enough options now, including teams from England and Scotland again. We have been in contact with a few clubs and I have to decide what is the best step for me. The most important thing is that I play again. I signed a new contract even though I could have gone for free this summer and I still think that staying at Watford is a good long-term plan. I have already discussed the whole thing with Watford. The priority is that I have to play next season. It won’t help the club or me if I don’t play again." https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/transfer-news-live-rangers-celtic-22265080 Would love to see him back at killie
  3. Linked today. That’s more like it. Exactly the powerful hold up player we are crying out for. Competition from England’s lower leagues but hopefully we put on a full press and convince him he should be here.
  4. Taking him from Hibs on loan would be absolute stupidity imo. Finished 13 points below us, can't get a game for them, and we've to develop him for them? Really hope we stand back from this and let St Johnstone take him.
  5. Celtic outcast Jack Hendry is being eyed by Motherwell and Kilmarnock as he looks to end his Hoops frustration. The Premiership pair have expressed an interest in the centre-back who has not made a single appearance under Neil Lennon. Hendry is surplus to requirements at the champions but had the potential chance to move to Hull Cityearlier this month. But Celtic stalled on the offer and then went back asking for more money. By that time, though, the Tigers had already moved on to another target. With the English window now closed, the 24-year-old’s options are now limited. The problem for Celtic is that if he moves to a Premiership rival such as Motherwell or Killie then Celtic would have to subsidise the majority of the player’s wages There could also be the possibility of a move to Europe, where most of their transfer windows are open for the rest of this month. A possible escape route is to German where there is initial interest but Hendry is waiting to see if that is firmed up. Brendan Rodgers signed Hendry from Dundee in January last year. The central defender made an instant impression and was a Celtic and Scotland regular but in the second half of last season he dropped out of both fronts. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/jack-hendry-transfer-fight-celtic-18972539 If we got the Dundee type Jack Hendry, then good. Although his confidence seems to be at rock bottom now so not so sure.
  6. Don't shoot the messenger but I'm hearing Alex Dyer has left Kilmarnock.
  7. Leeds United look like missing out on Inter pair Facundo Colidio and Ryan Nolan, with the latter now headed for Angelo Alessio’s Kilmarnock. Leeds seemed to be closing in on the double deal, but FcInterNews warns Nolan is now on his way to Kilmarnock on a season-long loan. As for Colidio, the website claims Marcelo Bielsa’s side are unwilling to meet the Beneamata’s €6m asking price. They have also since signed another striker in Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah, while the English transfer window is due to close in less than two hours.
  8. Cardiff City are weighing up a £1million bid for Kilmarnock striker Eamonn Brophy. The 23-year old Scotland international has been identified by Neil Warnock as a player who can make an impact on the Championship this season. Kilmarnock will listen to offers for the attacker, who joined the club from Hamilton Academical in 2013. The club are still reeling from last week's humiliating Europa League defeat to Welsh part-timers Connah's Quay Nomads. Brophy scored 12 goals in 33 games last season before being called up to play for Scotland in their 2-1 win over Cyprus last month. To date, he has played 67 games and scored 21 goals for Kilmarnock during five years at the club.
