Hear on BBC Scotland that SOD is training with Hamilton Accies. (Not with a view to sign apparently)

Hahahahaha!! Seems his billy big boots offers aren't exactly flying in

Listening to him today, I don't think he would be interested in any offer from us as he is "looking to move to a bigger club than Kilmarnock" apparently. He also explained that he had made up his mind he wouldn't be signing again towards the end of the season we finished third.

Billy Big baws has been brought down to size by covids cash crisis.

Was made a very good offer but thought he could get better. He'd more or less flopped down south before he came here, and we've helped him resurrect his career and become an international fullback. He could at least have signed a year extension, if he was as good as he thinks he is, someone would've paid for him and helped out the club that saved his career.

So f**k 'im

He was fairly sanguine about his situation today- as he has been any time I've heard him talking about it, to be fair. He's been careful with his money throughout his career he said, so was happy at the moment to wait for the right offer.

He must be waiting on a move to England then as none of the bigger clubs in Scotland (than Killie) are needing or looking for a right back as far as I can see. League 1 here he comes, Scotland career there it goes!

I didn't realise the young boy who took his place at Luton, James Justin, is now in the Leicester City first team.

Came across as a total w****r. When killie players leave I usually wish them the best. Not him.

Shouldve signed a new deal. Steve Clarke has already proven he will pick players based on quality and not what club they play for.

Could've stayed and had a reasonable release clause in his contract.

Last season he was pretty poor , Lost his Scotland slot too. I really think that McGowan could be a better defender...At the end of the day SOD was ok going forward , But lost count how many goals we conceded from crosses that he did not block.

He certainly came across as a self confident individual, I'll give him that.

You obviously never heard him today. Humble he was certainly not.

Fwiw, I always thought he was quite good in his stuff with Gavin Wallace with the club.

Obviously the English market is still to open so he may get a decent move down south. Up here his best option could be at Hearts but is the Championship where he wants to be.

I think he really hoped he’d be at Celtic last summer and that move never materialised.

Just don’t get the bitterness of some on here. SOD was great for us overall. Any other view is churlish. Is he our most capped Scottish international? I heard the interview and he was confident and articulate but not in my book a William Large Testes.

Agreed. Never understood the hate. Scored/assisted some very important goals for us too.

I’m not bitter towards SOD but I am and always have been frustrated by him.

He was a good fit for us and vice versa, he definitely got carried away with the scotland call ups and Celtic supposed interest but I always felt his limit was a good player for our level, that view hasn’t changed.

I certainly don’t hold any ill feelings towards him, he served us well but it’s time to move on.

A Legend in his own mind, cost us some very serious goals, scored some important ones, but then that’s part of what he was paid handsomely to do.

wouldnt be too bothered if we had to face him, just leave someone up field while he’s off on one of his sorties

He'll end up at Hearts

So it could be like Boyd (2nd time) or Cammy Bell leaving us for bigger things.
