If he's fit I'd put him in. Broadfoot is a certainty to give away a penalty on Sunday if he plays

Or get sent off

Probably both.

Going a full season with Broadfoot as first choice was giving me the fear.

You don’t get any league points for signing players. The number of games we have won under AD remains the same as it did before we made this signing.

Perhaps it would be more sensible to wait a few weeks to see if the record improves.

Agreed, signings have looked good on paper but so did many of Jigs.

As it stands, both Dyer and Jig's records as manager are/were rotten.

Can only support Dyer as he's boss and hope that record improves. If not we're in for a long, long season as the season finishing early did us a massive turn.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing him succeed but don't think we can rewrite history just yet based on a few signings and a loss on the opening day, albeit we played well. Still need more creativity.

The pressure will inevitably come if we don't pick up a win in either Ross County or St Johnstone games. At least we are showing signs of playing well. The difference between Locke, jig and Dyer is that we can see performances in an Alex Dyer team. As we saw in Mixu's season which didn't start off great in terms of performance, he eventually the performances turned into results. It wasn't just the defeats but the manner of the defeats that was the issue.

On the flip side I heard a stat saying we only won 3 games away last season, two of which was against Hearts, can't think who the other one was against ? That is another stat that needs to change!

Solid and physical

Like Broadfoot , Its defenders with brains we need . Last week as a few on here predicted Broadfoot tends to be out of position and always chasing a forward. I can't say i remember the guy as standing out for Hearts , They did let in loads of goals last season, But perhaps that was more down toa slow Berra.....Anyway good to see they realised we still needed more defensive options.....

Never a positive word to say. The quality of players Fowler has managed to help bring in seem to be of a very decent level.

It's up to them to perform and for Dyer to get the best out of them!

Agree entirely, think we have the players but it’s the game management that is the main concern. For example against Hibs great supply of crosses and using long ball into the box but only Kabamba with any height up front who was winning very little in the air.  Should have thrown on Whitehall at HT to support him and take advantage of these balls into the box with GK dropping off the front two. Greg is a good ball striker as opposed to Rory and may have given us more chances. Our best chance was an almost OG!!

And the same nonsense from you. Just tell me one thing in my post that is negative.. It is simply the truth and common sense

Dyer might surprise us all and play 3 at the back.  We're all suggesting Broadfoot will drop out but he's def one of the ones who'd run through brick walls for Dyer and that's bound to be mutual.  Perhaps KB realises he needs to be used sparingly now...

What has Fowler got to do with how the player then performs on the pitch? Fowler has quite clearly recruited well and in area's that we required. Nearly all players signed had performed well at their previous clubs and seemed to have decent reviews from fans of their previous clubs. It is now up to them to perform and for Dyer to get the best out of them.

McGowan, Haunstrup, Dikamona, Pinnock and Whitehall all seemed to have been considered good players from their previous fans which is quite rare to see on twitter. All a good age as well that if they perform well the club could see a decent return. Add that to Tshibola returning and getting in a couple of decent goalkeepers it's been a very positive window. The final piece of the puzzle could be recruiting that someone that has that something special. Like a Stewart or Mulumbu etc.

Think you’ve missed the point here.

To put it into simple terms, he’s addressed our weak areas on the park with a good calibre of player. In comparison to signing duds like Sow and Jackson. Hope that clears that up.

It’s upto AD to make them gel/click.

JF has done a good job, that’s who I’m talking about. Not AD and not results on the park.

We have recruited in all of the positions that we all agreed were essential to strengthen.

Some of us still want a creative midfielder, some of us still want a box-to-box player, some of us still want another wide player. We are definitely not going to be getting three more players though.

Speaking personally, the spark to make something happen at the attacking end is absent and we are over-reliant on Chris Burke who is wonderful but we cant place the entire burden on his shoulders.

Kiltie should be developed as the number 10, think our full backs give us a lot going forward which allows for more defensive minded midfielders, that being said I'd like to see tish get forward more he's a big guy late runs from the middle would cause bother.

If how the players perform on the pitch has nothing to do with Fowler then he has the safest job in football.
What you are saying is that if they perform well then its great job Jamie but if they perform badly then Dyer is to blame.

How they performed last year at their previous clubs no longer matters. it is what they do for Killie this season that counts.
If the story is good then Fowler and Dyer can take the credit, if it's not then it's not a case of the manager only to blame.

So far all I have seen from the new signings is one game with a massive howler from the new keeper and a very good performance from Tshibola.
That's way too early to say that 'Fowler has turned it round' - nor Dyer for that matter.
Let's see how things are going after 11 games or so.

If we get that Stewart/Mulumbu player we will have the best squad weve had for years. Including the Steve Clarke era

Lay off the crack pipe lad.

No Bachmann, SOD, Greg Taylor or Boyd.
