Honestly no massive shocks there. It’s just what peg goes in which hole now and will the shapes match.

He praised the impact of Polworth, McKenzie and Robinson on Friday so they were always going to start.

I’ll go 4-3-2-1. Back four. McKenzie, Polworth and Donnelly in CM with Armstrong and Robbo behind Doidge.

Don't hate that side. Like everyone I'm hoping the starting 11 against Dundee Utd on February 1st is very different from tonight but from the players available it's a decent team.

It’s amazing you have got two red arrows for that ??

And you for this ???. Amazing what folk thinks a good looking midfield. That's no going to control a game ffs. Del will snatch your hand off for a draw right now.

more likely be 442 or some version of it similar to the start of the second half against well

This.

donnelly was always going to play. We don’t have any other player that does the power role.
got a feeling this could be his last chance tho.

Is Alebiosu now sharing the same naughty corner as Shaw, injured, or is it simply that McInnes feels we've too overwhelming a threat going forward that it wouldn't be fair to other teams to actually use proper fullbacks?

That's the omission that's annoying me most recently, he was one of our only attacking threats and now seems to be nowhere near the team. We set up far too negatively sometimes

Maybe 4-2-3-1? I don’t see him going with just Donnelly and Polworth from the off.

Personal opinion I thought we saw him give up the ghost United away. Probably wrong but have doubts about how injured he was that night.

I’d change that to our only threat he’s the only player in the squad that has the confidence and ability to drive at someone get past them and get the ball in the box

How many times has he found a team mate with a cross? His final ball is dreadful.
