Cill Mheàrnaig Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 (edited) Signed on a one-year-deal. https://kilmarnockfc.co.uk/news/watkins-to-wear-no-23/ Edited July 21, 2023 by Cill Mheàrnaig 3 Quote
Killieboykfc Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Hmmm - a predictable, and probably quite safe signing. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Would like another attacker or two to come in on top of him. -6 Quote
Pompey Repatriated Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Not the most aspiring signing. But offers backup all along the front line and I did say we're a bit short out wide. -5 Quote
heynow2005 Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Happy with this, decent player at this level and will do as part of the squad 5 Quote
All the Wine Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 After the buzz of Findlay and Mayo this one is a bit...meh. Still, its not Doidge -4 Quote
Fletch Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Haven't watched him closely in a few seasons but he was a smashing player a few years back. Offers something in a good few positions. Quite happy to have him. 4 Quote
KTID65 Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Decent. Will most likely do a job but could have been a lot better. Slightly underwhelming, tbh it’s probably the best we could have gotten. 0 Quote
trenwick Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 (edited) looking at wiki watkins 47 apps - 4 goals for aberdeen doidge 27 apps - 3 goals for killie doesn't fill the proven goalscorer we urgently require not that i want doidge Edited July 21, 2023 by trenwick 0 Quote
Pride_of_ayrshire Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Feels like a signing that’s pushed Warnock down the pecking order(understand he’s not a striker but makes a good forward partner). But welcome Marley if he can keep himself fit he’ll be a decent option to have 0 Quote

Arshire Blue Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 This is a very good addition. He’s a talented player if we stays fit. Our squad is looking very very good on paper. 2 Quote

I would rather have someone who can consistently play at this level than a one goal every three games player from the fifth level in England. 10 Quote
piffer Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Happy enough with this one. A solid Premiership signing. Adds depth up top and he’s something a bit different to the strikers we have. 3 Quote
mitch14 Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Happy with that. Options to rotate the forwards and have something off the bench. 2 Quote
MarkD1989KTID Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 Surely he's coming in as backup. Very underwhelming -33 Quote
jazza Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 If we can get him back to his Inverness form then lovely bit of business 0 Quote
MarkD1989KTID Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 I'll still withhold my judgement on RR until the WOW factor striker signs. That's what I want -32 Quote
Popular Post killie billies pal Posted July 21, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted July 21, 2023 got to love these forums, Vassell will. be much better fitness wise, we have a greater goal threat from midfield, and yet some still expect Kyogo to tell Celtic to do one as he's signing for Killie, who do you guys expect to get? or will it simply not matter as you just want to be negative, as that's what makes you tick. 36 Quote

PillieKie Posted July 21, 2023 Report Posted July 21, 2023 For some reason I thought he was a striker but he's clearly more of a winger, good cover, wonder if Murray will continue to play up top 0 Quote
