Odd one to pick as we looked reasonably going forward, even though I thought Watkins pre-injury was the only forward player to have a genuinely good game.  I though the Magennis and Lyons were excellent in the middle (and Polworth when he came on) and I thought Findlay was excellent at the back (and Wright in the first half but had a few poor giveaways in the second).

Armstrong for me given he scored both goals, albeit he frustratingly gave the ball away far too much and it seems the 'best player in the school playground' thing he does has rubbed off on Kennedy. Just lift your head, look at your options and then decide if you want to go on a mazy run, or go to the by line, or make a through pass etc. Too slow and predictable at the moment, both of them.

Can’t believe the votes for Lyons. He’s played four good games in 2+ seasons. Been posted missing last few weeks.

Armstrong was getting a lot of stick today but trying to make things happen. Doesn’t help when players around you are static. Composure from the spot a lot better this week and in the right place for the goal. Watching behind the goal you see his positioning. He gets good space but we take too long to get the ball there.

He was anything but missing today. The number of times he tracked all the way back, the full length of the pitch, and won the ball back was incredible.

His passing isn’t great, but his defensive play, positioning and energy are all excellent.

Armstrong, infuriating at certain points. Trying silly Tiktok skills. However moving past that, scored 2 great goals, was aggressive. Still of his a form for me a wee bit though.

Wouldn’t take responsibility. Lost a number of 50/50. Gave away more than one dangerous free kick in acts of stupidity. He’s never the player we need. Polworth offered so much more when he came on. Watson was far better last week.

If folk are happy with him then fair dos but we should be looking for far better.
