4-3-3 or 4-5-1 seems the most obvious. I hope it’s 4-3-3 as anything else could really isolate Vassell

I don’t think the four CBs has worked so far but hopefully that changes tonight. Personally I’d have put Polworth in at CM as well as he’s one not scared of the football. Good to see young Watson back in. Not sure why he was dropped in the first place and his cameo vs Hibs should have been enough to get him back in at the weekend

For me Wright has to be the one at LB.  Findlay and Deas in the centre.

The slowest most right sided player in the back line at LB. That is a McInnes way of thinking

4 3 3 when attacking and 4 5 1 when we are defending.

No comparison between the benches.

Barring a McInnes brain fart, we’ve got six or seven who are unlikely to appear.

Oh, and another game has come too early for Donnelly. Let’s hope he’s fit for the post-split matches.

Wright is about the the only one who is right-footed!

Probably the only one who has never played left back. Deas and Findlay are both s**tty left backs. If only someone could have predicted this Malarkey in advance.

I can see the thinking behind many of McInnes' signings/re-signings that people generally criticise, but Donnelly is bizarre. He was an injury risk before we signed him, he was an injury problem for the entire time he was here in his first stint, and he continues to be an injury problem now.

The fact we left the light on for him all summer really makes me wonder what we see in him. He's hardly the second coming of Makelele even when he is fit.
