Reading some of the stuff on Twitter he’s told Celtic he’s not interested. The lad seems keen to play football again and won’t leave Newcastle to sit on the bench elsewhere.

Celtics goalkeeper search is a nonsense. They’ve tried and failed with Carson. Now linked with Scott Bain among others. That move has to be approved by Hibs who just signed him on loan. In order for that to happen Celtic May have to take Scott Allan back from Dundee and allow him to join Hibs. To then keep Dundee sweet they will have to up their bid for Jack Hendry or drop interest until the summer. It makes the striker dealings between Arsenal, Chelsea and Dortmund look simple.

If he goes to Aberdeen he will be. Lewis is expected to be out for 3-4months. McInnes doesn’t seem to have much faith in Rodgers.

That would put the Dons ahead of Celtic as I doubt Rodgers would put him in as first choice keeper.

I said on the Woodywatch thread there is stuff on Twitter that the player himself isn’t interested in going anywhere to play backup. He wants minutes on the park.
