I think it's a good sign that he's started MacDonald and not immediately put his own man in without any game time. Good show of faith in the squad.

Solid team. Hope Thomas can take his chance. 'like a new signing' etc

That 9-1 formation of there’s is not gonna be pretty to play against

Think Scotland vs San Marino. They aren't out to get a result. Just not to get pumped. And if they can injure a few of our players before the second leg, that's a wee Brucie Bonus for them

So it isn't a dream and we are really back in European football..........bring it on

solid looking team ...and does give the players from last season a chance to impress the new Manager......with more new players set to sign in next few weeks

El Makrini wasn't listed in the Europa League squad yesterday. Strange that he makes the bench.

Surprised that Thomas has edged in front of Kiltie. Doesn't bode well for Greg considering more competition will come in.

Will be tough to break them down. They'll sit in and make it hard. Would be delighted with an away goal and avoiding defeat. Confident we will have an easier time at rugby park with an extra week of preseason work under our belts.

Mon the Killie!

The bench looks poor. Need more bodies in.

:S 2 players on it we've not seen yet and several promising/ reasonably experienced youngsters.  Looks an ok bench to me?

Good strong team for me............going to be tough as this lot will get stuck in. But I think if we play fast, sharp passing football we should be too good for them.  Forza Killie!!  :hurrah:

My guess is that if we happened to be four nil up with half an hour to go or something it would be ideal to give him some game time? Otherwise he stays on the bench.

It's not so much the logic of him being on the bench. He's been signed to play and we need to getyy him up to speed. It was more a concern that he wasn't listed in the squad announced by UEFA but is named on the bench anyway. Assume we managed to register him as a wild card in time?

Pretty sure that is the case. On another thread I’m sure someone posted a screenshot with him having been included later on last night.
