Reserves v. Well (H) Today

Recommended Posts

Presumably offers the chance to see our 8th and 9th choice centre backs in action. Good luck lads and stay safe out there!

Good to see the Motherwell team up on the Motherwell Twitter feed. Slightly disappointing to not see our line up on the Killie one :-(

Disappointing that we don't have any youngsters pushing their way into the first team, particularly when we have so many players out of contract in the summer.  No improvement in results since Millen took over, just continuing mediocrity. The fact that this is back to being called a reserve league doesn't appear to have improved the standard.

Is the boy McDonald any good ? he’s survived the cut on numerous occasions where players more established have gone.

Anyone who watches reserves regularly have a low down on him and any other promising players ?

Decent enough for reserves but miles off first team.

He’s also Paul McDonald’s son...

The whole youth set up is a joke. There is next to nobody coming through. The sooner the club appoint a head of football operations to set a new blueprint the better. One of the first things he should do is bin Millen and McDonald.

Both Millen and McDonald have heir kids playing for Killie. That's a bit odd.

If only all offspring were as good as Kenny's.

Problem is in the 15 years between Naismith and Smith the only prospect of that calibre we have produced was Kennedy.

The more good players we produce, the longer we can hold on to some of them and the more transfer revenue we would receive.

We are producing next to no prospects.

I'd get shot of Millen and McDonald as well and bring back Alan Robertson now that the pariah has gone. In fact can we not just take over Bonnyton Thistle and get ourselves some instant training facilities in the process? Too many 'senior' teams let along having another one in the same town.

From what I've heard we appear to have put all our eggs in the Mathie basket and now that's fallen through we're left with that O'Hagan calling the shots and he appears to be useless.

You've heard wrong then as the Club have had a few folk in recently, can't say I recognised them though, sorry.
