Seems to me he was contacted to talk about AD , and when asked about coming back to us he gave the usual kind of answer would hope most employees who leave us on good terms do.......

Agreed. If he could cut out hanging around with his shisha pipe mates for 10 minutes and act like an athlete he could easily prolong his career. Hate seeing talent wasted.

If fit, then it’s a no brainier.  I get McLean’s point of not feeling easy about a player who swans in and out.  However there’s a difference between someone who comes in, works hard, performs and keeps his head down to a guy who comes back to us, doesn’t do as well as he could and spends his down time waxing lyrical about his beloved sevco.  If they can improve us and respect their employer when they are there, then there’s nothing to discuss.  The days of players playing for the squirrels on the badge are all but over.

Other players might resent him walking back in whenever it takes his liking.

The resentment perhaps stems from said player walking back in whenever it takes his liking and still being head and shoulders above anyone else on the park.

Money talks, more than ever these days. If, however, we can get him in partly due to him liking the club and his working conditions then we have won a watch. He’d never have been here in the first place on purely financial grounds so to get him in a second time speaks volumes. 6 month contract would be a no brainer if he’s at all interested. The directors could really get the fans back onside here.

The only reason I can think for him not playing is that he is still being paid by Celtic to the end of his original contractual expiry date and that those payments would stop if he joined another club.

He only came to us as a favour to Clarke. He wouldnt had come anywhere near the club otherwise. Thats why the next manager needs to have experience and decent contacts in the english leagues

Was he not on a two year deal with a one year break clause?

is he even training with anyone at the moment?

Not kicked a ball in anger in over 6 months

Don’t know, don’t care. 4 weeks from now to get some degree of fitness back. Queens Park for match practise then straight in against Celtic on 22/01.

I heard today that Killie have signed Mulumbu and possibly Bachman coming back in January. Might be a load of old rubbish but would be good if its true.

should these not be decisions being made by new manager or is Fowler responsible for signings now?

If a manager doesn't want Mulumbu he shouldn't have the job tbf...

A Xmas present to uplift supporters or.........

Do wonder if AA was perhaps a block to certain things happening or not in agreement with players put forward as January recruits
