Be interesting to see if we've been nobbled by the court of the lord lyon, for the others that would get badged up. Or, if the 150 run is enough to make it acquiesce to us making our retro shirts as retro replicas.

As I see it, it wouldn’t involve the Lord Lyon as it would not be a newly-created crest.

It would be a replica of one which he has already vetoed (on the grounds that it incorporates the town cost of arms, for new readers).

There is no intention to use the crest going forward so nothing, if you like, to which the Lord Lyon could object.

I agree with you that it’s just creating more - albeit a small number - of something which he doesn’t like, and he can gurn and bear it.

Interesting point though!

They should all come in a box.

Patient and wait. Depending on how well these ones do depends on how many more we go for and which ones are next.

Pink AT Mays top please

There were crap badges on the Toff shirts which is why they probably didn't sell many

I have the toffs one, but carefully removed the badge when I got it.

We had a pink top?

It was mostly red and the thin stripes were a blue/white chevron pattern that looked silver.

...which I will consider buying if anyone has it.

If retro kits are going to sell for £50 what’s a brand new original worth?

Honestly didn’t think they would be worth much.

It's got wild in the past couple of years. I've come to terms with the fact my 90s Killie shirt shopping days are done.

More on the website either tomorrow or Monday but the 65 shirt will be the first in a line of retro shirts. £50 a shirt, 150 available. It'll come in a commemorative box too.

Why do they limit these things? We might not sell thousands but surely if ye want one ye should have the chance.

I have an 80s hoop shirt (At Mays type) made by toffs, a one off. Same collar etc but no badge, looks good.  I hope they do this one with a badge and the umbro diamonds.

They can take all my money if they make this.

Yes I was flushed on pretty early on that one!

The only killie memorabilia I’ve seen on eBay recently that topped that was a signed 1965 squad pic. These rarely come up signed by everyone so I went all in. I’ll donate it to the club when I pop off...

There was also a signed match ball from Real v Killie (signed by Real) but totally unverified and they were asking 4 figures.

Thing of beauty right enough. Got one for my 21st. My folks couldn't get hold of a home one for love nor money.

On retro shirt site. Somebody trying to pass off a shirt as the league winning one with a picture of the 1965 programme from Tynecastle.   But they have the present club badge on it. And the 65 shirt had not a club badge .
