New Home Kit 2020/21 (Actual Kit)

Recommended Posts

Quite apart from the shirt, Brownings’ logo is so old fashioned.

Maybe it suits their business - “old style home baking” - but it’s not very 21st century and doesn’t do the shirt any favours.

Yes, the logo is very antiquated.

It might be ideal for their business but unfortunately its not a good match for a football strip.

QTS was much better looking - even though practically no one I knew had heard of the company.

I think they would've got away with just the writing and not the white circle

Looks like top of a tissue box.

Nice enough top otherwise. Big step up from Nike.

Better version of my drawing. I had a better one pre-prepared but got asked not to show the shorts and socks last minute while I was away from my laptop.

Surely what you wear away from your laptop is your own business??

An absolute beauty of a kit and reminds me of my favourite top ever (the 97 cup win top).

Dare I say it, this looks better and with more effort than our 150th anniversary tops

You weren't involved with this one @Lroy

Nope. I did do a third kit which has been mothballed because of Covid.

Away kit is yellow again, apparently.

That's good news. Over the years our yellow tops have pretty much always been good.

Nice shirt, not too much white which I prefer.

As said 100 times already the sponsor let's it down. Fair play to John for putting his money in but I think it couldve been a bit more tastefully done.

Can see me buying training gear instead if it looks the part.

I like it but think if the logo was a rectangle it might have looked better and less in your face but again that’s what brownings have paid for.

All Brownings products have the circle round the logo, so it is probably all part of “brand integrity” or whatever the marketing geeks call it. We could have had the “Established 1945” as well, but that would have confused the Daily Record “journalists” who might have heard we celebrated our 150th anniversary last year...! I have no problem cutting generous sponsors a bit of slack with their logos.

Wouldn't imagine it'd be bigger than the Seriously Strong 'burger'

The way it reads I think it's an all blue back.
