Skygod will know :)

Normally I only research questions I’m curious about the answer to, but since you asked so nicely....

He doesn’t seem to have played much against Killie. Three league matches in 1988-89 and another three in 1990-91 for Falkirk.

His one appearance for Ayr was his debut in a January 1993 derby at Somerset.

And one League Cup tie for Dumbarton at RP in August 1995.

I can’t see that he scored in any of them.

I dont remember him playing for Killie but do remember him scoring a hat trick for falkirk at the old Broomfield. It was the Saturday night game on tv, in the days when they were interested in other clubs outside of the cities.

I remember Sammy scoring the Killie goal in a 1-0 victory at Brockville in a top of the table clash (the bomb scare in the stand game).... I also remember drunkenly recounting the tale to him some years later, standing at the bar in Judy Chicago's. He shook my hand and I later ran about telling everyone I would never wash that hand again (I did).
